About This Role
- As today's Intel processor technology progresses with higher complexities and faster delivery time to the market, the CPU Validation team is tasked to meet these new technological challenges by ensuring all CPU designs meet or exceed the quality goals in the most efficient way possible.
- As a Validation Tool Architect, you will design and develop tool to validate and debug the latest CPU feature in the next-generation CPU designs.
- The work encompasses: Understand the architecture/designs of specific functional blocks of a processor feature to design and develop the tool Ensure effectiveness and coverage of test tool developed in the qualification of the new designs Practice the software development process and test/QA process to ensure software of the highest quality Drive software performance and efficiency improvement Ongoing innovation to improve effectiveness, TPT and coverage measurement in validation Qualifications: Bachelor, Master or a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of working experience in software development and CPU system/PC platform architecture and validation.
- Strong scripting and programming skills (C++/C# , Python and assembly code).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamwork.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
