  • This is an onsite position and reports to the Tool Install Manager.
  • Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ownership or creating IFC (Issue For Construction)/Design knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Factory Owners/stakeholders to ensure Tools/Equipment/Kits are ordered in alignment with Tool Install Schedule requirements, tracking and resolving any issues timely and escalating as required.
  • Represent local FCS in Central Tool Install and Virtual Factory forums.
  • Work with Stakeholders to forecast equipment and funding requirements and ensure alignment with FCS Financial planning/reporting cycles.
  • Ensure commit/purchase orders are in place for Tools/Equipment/Kits.
  • Collaborate with EMS and Systems Owners ensuring systems correctly reflect Equipment requirements and schedule.
  • Drive Systems and Part number configuration/genealogy and accuracy for RFT (right first time) Order/Kits delivery.
  • Align Stakeholders to enable planning to support Tool Install Milestones/activities.
  • Attend meetings for planning and coordination.
  • Work with Suppliers to ensure Business needs are understood and that Materials and Resources are positioned to deliver services on time.
  • Maintain awareness of any commercial issues/risks capacity with Contractors to enable early course correction/resolution.
  • Ensure Staff are trained and competent and comply with SOP's/Procedures.
  • Issue Change Orders/Funding Approvals before any work commences with no ATF (after the fact Orders).
  • Feedback and incorporate any VF Learnings into Tool Install Operations.
  • Ensure safety, housekeeping and standards are maintained in Facilities where FCS scope is executed.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality project plans that enables accurate and cost-effective delivery of scope.
  • Foster innovation and transform traditional construction practices by driving new methods and solutions through leveraging industry insights.
  • Build and drive safety culture in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.
  • In addition to the qualifications a successful candidate will demonstrate: Willingness to manage discussions with executive management drilling down to details and managing efforts hands-on if the need arises.

  • Commitment to safety culture throughout the assigned scope and onsite.
  • Drive decision making at the cadence of Moore’s law, integrating with business partners and influencing in a highly matrix environment.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or related field 3+ years of experience in Project/Construction Management, Tool Install/Qualification, Process or Equipment Engineering Preferred Qualifications: Tool installation/ construction design experience etc.
  • Experience with Planar and/or Wet Etch process tool equipment in semiconductor industry Experience of large-scale projects in a leadership role.
  • Lean or 6-Sigma certification.
  • PMI Professional Project Management Certification (PMP), Lean or 6-Sigma.

  • Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-170,630.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
