  • The F15/C4 Module Equipment Technician (Nightshift) responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and installs/assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings.
  • Performs setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinates with supplier for service and repairs where needed.
  • Monitors and analyzes all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues.
  • Creates reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance. • Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures.
  • Supports Engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets preventing future excursions.
  • During factory ramps, works with module engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and/or converted per designs.
  • Note: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.
  • Candidate must be willing to: Work a compressed work week schedule.
  • The schedule will consist of three twelve-hour days in a row followed by a four-day week every other week.
  • Work in a clean room environment wearing coveralls hoods booties safety glasses and gloves.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. 5 times/day, spend the majority of time (more than 90 percent less break time) in a clean room environment working on tool sets, walking 2-4 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.

Requirements

  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
  • The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Math, Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
  • OR Associate degree AND 2+ years related equipment maintenance experience.
  • OR Highschool diploma and a 3+ year Technical/trade certification in a technical field such as Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering technology, Computer Electronic Engineering Technology, or similar STEM discipline (candidate must possess the certification or expect to complete the required certification by employment start date).
  • OR Highschool diploma and 4+ years military training in a technical field such as: electronics, mechanical, or similar technical field; and at least 2+ years of experience.
  • OR Highschool diploma and 2.5+ years of experience with equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair in a semiconductor environment or manufacturing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Proficient working with hand tools, meters, calibration tools Fab maintenance experience MES experience.
  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

  • Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role) The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
