About This Role

  • Prepares and maintains Intel's financial records, negotiates and manages audits with audit seniors, manages interactions with external auditors and government authorities, and provides data analysis and insights that help stakeholders understand Intel's position to make appropriate financial decisions.
  • Maintains and analyzes the ledger accounts and prepares internal financial reporting of revenue, sales and tax, and regulatory statutory financial reports.
  • Develops, revises, and maintains finance policies, procedures, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted reporting standards.
  • Defines the accounting system roadmap and system requirements for the future and assists or directs system programming resources to develop accounting systems.
  • Validates the month end accounts ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the reported results, ensures that schedules are prepared timely in a way that drives insights into the business results, proactively responds to management or auditor questions, and resolves issues.
  • Coordinates with statutory auditors and supports local corporate tax compliance, accounting, and reporting, ensuring local statutory accounts are filed on time to the appropriate authorities.
  • Supports business partners on accounting automation and adhoc projects and acts as key point of contact for accounting/finance related matters.
  • Ensures compliance with appropriate standards and internal controls over financial reporting and operates Cross functionally with other departments to ensure proper accounting for new or unique transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. - Candidates should have 1-2 years of applicable work experience in similar role.
  • This role is also open to fresh graduates and early-career professionals - Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data.

Nice to Have

  • Membership or active pursuit of certifications such as CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or MIA. - Experience with automation tools like Power BI, Python, Power Automate, or SQL scripting. - Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams. - Ability to adapt to ambiguity and dynamic environments while maintaining focus on results. - Passion for leveraging technology to transform and innovate financial operations. - This is a 12-month Contract position.
