About This Role
- The Role and Impact As an Accountant at Intel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Intel's financial records.
- By preparing and analyzing financial data, managing interactions with auditors and government authorities, and contributing to regulatory and statutory compliance efforts, you will directly influence Intel's operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

- Key Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain Intel's financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and company policies. - Support statutory audit processes, including auditor engagement, preparation of schedules, provision of documentation, and completion of audited financial statements (e.g., Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement). - Manage monthly and quarterly governmental filings with Registrar of Companies, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies. - Validate month-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and addressing variances to provide actionable insights. - Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders to manage compliance with complex accounting issues and emerging regulations, including ESG, AMLA, and other new standards. - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as Tax, Legal, Mergers and Acquisitions, and HR to ensure financial compliance deliverables are met. - Participate in process improvement projects, including SAP S4 system design, implementation, and optimization. - Lead or contribute to global and local finance projects, legal entity restructuring, and new entity setup initiatives. - Maintain and revise financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance. - Provide insights through data analysis to support strategic decision-making processes and resolve management or auditor inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. - Proficiency in IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory compliance standards. - At least 3+ years of experience in accounting or auditing within a global organization. - Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent). - Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP S4 and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. - Familiarity with month-end close processes, journal entry bookings, reconciliations, and financial reviews. - Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to manage complex financial data and ensure accuracy. - Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Preferred Qualifications - Experience in external auditing or working with SAP S4 solutions. - Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or experience with automation tools like Power Automate, Python, or SQL. - Proven ability to manage complex regulatory audits and compliance matters. - Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements. - Familiarity with semiconductor or manufacturing industry processes.
