About This Role
- Intel's Finance Organization ensures high-quality accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance globally.
- We partner across the organization to deliver accurate GAAP-compliant accounting and maintain strong internal controls.
- This role support Intel's global stock-based compensation programs.
- You'll handle ASC 718 accounting, expense recognition, valuations, and financial reporting while partnering with HR, Treasury, Legal, and audit teams to ensure accurate and compliant equity compensation accounting.
- Key Responsibilities • Support end-to-end ASC 718 accounting for global equity programs from grant to settlement • Prepare expense calculations, valuations, performance assessments, and process entries for modifications and new awards • Support monthly/quarterly close activities and prepare financial statement schedules for disclosure and proxy reporting • Execute SOX controls, reconciliation procedures, and maintain system integrations between equity platforms and general ledger • Support internal/external audit requirements, testing, and ensure process documentation standards • Collaborate with HR Compensation, Treasury, Legal, and Payroll teams on compliance matters • Evaluate accounting impacts of program changes, conduct variance analysis, and support forecasting for compensation expense • Coordinate with shared services and external providers on equity administration • Identify automation opportunities and support finance transformation initiatives for scalable process development Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance • Minimum 3+ years accounting experience with stock compensation knowledge preferred • Strong US GAAP understanding, particularly ASC 718 • Experience with monthly/quarterly close processes • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems Preferred Qualifications : • Stock-based compensation accounting experience • SOX controls and audit support experience • SAP S/4HANA and equity platform knowledge • CPA certification or in progress • Process improvement and automation experience Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (Malaysia) Primary Location: Malaysia, Penang Additional Locations: Business group: Join Intel's Finance Group, a key player in driving strategic business decisions that enhance shareholder value.
