About This Role

  • This role support accounting activities within Hire To Retire Accounting team.
  • The role's main responsibility is to support monthly financial close processes by ensuring timely and accurate financial statement balances.
  • This includes posting and review payroll accounting entries, reconciliations and reporting, including year end audit processes.
  • Key Responsibilities: • Support recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in payroll accounting areas, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time. • Prepare and maintain journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and account analysis. • Review journal entries and reconciliations. • Manage and govern end to end business processes, ensuring operational continuity and compliance including process improvements. • Help ensure continuity of work and delivery quality across periods of change, transition, or evolving project demands. • Operate effectively across recurring close activities and ad hoc support requests from broader accounting and finance stakeholders. • Support project related accounting activities tied to business or finance transformation initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and followed through to completion. • Support testing, validation, issue identification, and go live readiness activities related to S/4 and other system or process changes. • Provide thoughtful analysis and commentary that helps improve management understanding of recurring transactions, balance trends, and key accounting activity. • Draft explanations for known or expected transactions and prepare for management review discussions by anticipating likely questions. • Support effective preparation for controller and management review meetings by reviewing open questions, drafting responses, and aligning messaging with key stakeholders. • Support recurring reporting processes related to other assets and liabilities, including transaction listings, reporting outputs, and analytical insights. • Support recurring analytical reviews and threshold-based tests, including activities comparable to balance sheet percentage or materiality based analysis. • Develop and apply AI, automation, and digital tool capabilities to improve process efficiency, reporting clarity, issue identification, and documentation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Masters Degree. • Proficiency in accounting principles and standards, including IFRS and US GAAP. • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems such as SAP S4 and Blackline. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance requirements. • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a global organization, with a focus on accounting or audit. • Certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
