What You'll Do

  • Lead Sales Operations Strategy & Execution: Oversee all aspects of the Sales Operations function as a key pillar within the MIPS Business Operations organization.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales operations strategy that supports accelerated revenue growth, commercial discipline, and sales force effectiveness across the business.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Own and continuously improve robust pipeline and forecasting processes to ensure accurate, timely visibility into bookings, billings, and revenue outlook.
  • Ensure strong CRM data hygiene and leverage analytics and real-time dashboards to monitor pipeline health and sales performance across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences.
  • Deal Desk & Quote-to-Cash Governance: Establish and lead a deal desk function to guide complex deal structuring and approvals.
  • Oversee efficient quote-to-cash processes—including pricing, quoting, contracting, and order management—ensuring compliance with sales policies while enabling deal velocity and high win rates.
  • Territory & Quota Planning: Design and refine sales coverage models, territory definitions, and quota allocation in partnership with Sales leadership and Finance, maximizing market coverage and sales productivity.
  • Align sales incentives and compensation frameworks with business goals to motivate desired sales outcomes and reward high performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operating Rhythm: Partner closely with Sales, Business Unit leaders, Finance, Legal, Product Management, and other stakeholders to synchronize go-to-market initiatives and execution.
  • Drive the Sales Operations cadence (e.g., regular forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews) and contribute to annual and quarterly planning processes to ensure targets are grounded in data-driven insights.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing Sales Operations team.
  • Set clear objectives, provide coaching and professional development, promote best practices, and foster a data-driven, continuous improvement culture to scale a world-class sales operations organization.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  • Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or business operations within the technology sector, including at least 3 years in a people management or team leadership role.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com) and sales productivity tools (including CPQ and forecasting/analytics platforms).
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data analysis and Excel to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence and partner with senior sales and business leaders, and drive process improvements in a high-growth environment.
  • Travel: Up to 10% travel as required.
  • Language: Fluency in English (written & verbal).

Nice to Have

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related graduate degree.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the semiconductor, semiconductor IP, or B2B enterprise technology industry, particularly supporting sales organizations in a complex, high-tech product or licensing environment.
  • Sales Process Expertise: Familiarity with advanced sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC), sales funnel optimization, and experience implementing sales process automation and CRM/CPQ enhancements.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to innovate and execute solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes, with a track record of effectively managing projects and navigating ambiguity.
  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and enable team success.

  • Expected Salary Range $146,000.00 - $254,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
