Principal TCAD Engineer

What You'll Do

• Provide TCAD Support to the CMOS Business Line, encompassing FDSOI and FinFET and Bulk device architectures.
• Apply commercial simulation software to mimic semiconductor process flows and device performance and highlight the opportunities for device optimization.
• Timely communication and delivery of appropriate understanding of the link between Process Flow and Electrical Device performance in terms of IV, CV, BV, SelfHeating, ESD, RF, LargeSignal, etc.
• Deep interaction with integration, device, and design engineers to assure the development of efficient and timely solutions for our customers.
• Work autonomously to perform TCAD model calibration work.
• Contribute to driving optimal technology decisions by evaluating multiple optimization paths in coordination with internal partners.
• Required Qualifications: Very good knowledge of VLSI Fabrication processes.
• Very good knowledge of Semiconductor Device Physics.
• Good experience and personal affinity to modeling in general and TCAD in particular.
• Expertise in at least one domain related to CMOS fabrication or modeling.
• Experience in eNVM (Flash, RRAM, MRAM) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team to solve complex problems.
• Ability to understand the time-value of the work and meet timelines.
