Principal Engineer, Process Engineering (Diffusion)

About This Role

• Responsible for combination of process and equipment engineering supporting production ramp by process qualification, productivity improvement and tool release Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager: Support production ramp by process qualification, productivity improvement and tool release Create, analyze and review technical charts and data (such as SPC/DOE/split lot/Space/Si-view/JMP/Klarity) Perform process matching between equipment's to reduce variations for better tool matching Identify chronic issues, establish improvement programs/procedures for resolution Work with cross function teams to address yield improvement, excursions and best practices across fabs Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve performance indices and optimize productivity Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.
• Works on small projects or on sets of tasks of large projects and assignments.
• Trains and guides others in the own work area on technical skills as needed; ability to break down information for internal and external customers in a systematic and communicable manner.
• Participates in and/or leads (project) teams Job Requirements BS Degree or Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required Relevant working experience in Bonder (TEL W2W/ BESI D2W), die re-constitution & Annealing (TEL Alpha 303, mattson- helios) process tool.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different cultures.
• Conduct regular meetings with PI & UMD for knowledge learning, with THREE projects per year that improve quality, cost, yield, or productivity.
