Sr Application Engineer

What You'll Do

• Support customers with adoption and deployment of Cadence Custom IC design flow built on Virtuoso and Spectre platforms.
• Engage with customers to understand their design challenges and propose technical solutions, guidance on methodology and best practices.
• Drive technical campaigns, product demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarking in a customer‑facing and technically stimulating environment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering and Marketing teams to drive product improvements and increase proliferation of Cadence solutions.
• Opportunities for growth: Acquire a strong technical understanding of the complete custom IC design flow.
• Deepen expertise in mixed‑signal design methodologies and advanced EDA tools.
• Build long‑term customer relationships.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of Cadence flows and methodologies.
• Build strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Solid understanding of analog or mixed‑signal IC design flows within Cadence Virtuoso Studio environment. 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in IC design, CAD, or application / technical support roles.
• Experience in UNIX environment.
• Knowledge of SKILL, Python, or similar scripting languages is an advantage.
• Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
