Staff Software Engineer

About This Role

• Role and Responsibilities: Engineer would be responsible for building system software components running on Linux/Fabric OS.
• The components would be part of the infrastructure.
• They can be user or kernel level components.
• Should be able to troubleshoot and support the infrastructure components for multiple parallel releases.
• Should be able to work with technical teams across geographies, and various time zones.
• Performance tuning of the infra components to meet the scalability requirements.
• Porting the applications to new Linux kernels.
• Work closely with the testing, documentation and customer support teams.
• Skills required: Must have a 4-year undergraduate degree, and Master’s degree preferred, with Major or Minor in Computer Science or Information Systems Must have 8 to 12 years of work experience in a software product company.
• Should have worked on the Linux/Unix platforms, using C/C++ languages.
