R&D Software Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, code, and test complex modules to meet functional and business requirements on schedule.
• Perform unit and module testing.
• Participate in test plan, design, and code reviews.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests.
• Analyze complex issues and exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria.
• Evaluate software performance impact and recommend design changes.
• Stay current with emerging themes in software development and testing.
• Write and maintain documentation for program development, logic, and corrections.
• Provide product content to technical writers.
• Assist in strategic research and design.
• Contribute to improving departmental processes and procedures.
• Develop and communicate project plans and timelines to management.
• Mentor and serve as a knowledge resource for junior engineers.
