About This Role

  • Job Description For the MSD Mainframe Business Specialist organization, you will play a critical role in analyzing, supporting and optimizing our internal processes and programs that help support account renewal and solution adoption objectives aligned with attainment of business growth targets and operational excellence.
  • This is an influential role, focused on close collaboration with cross-functional teams, departments and Divisions to analyze performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement that leads to implementation of processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our MBS operations.
  • In this rapid-paced and muti-faceted role, you are the glue of the organization and will be responsible for initiating and driving projects through to completion.
  • At the same time, you will develop knowledge of the mainframe, understand how Broadcom mainframe products add value and the role of the mainframe in our customers’ businesses.
  • Typical Role Definition Works in conjunction with internal and external cross-functional team members to coordinate MBS strategy and operations daily.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Is an effective communicator who can build productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Has mastered most of the basic job duties and demonstrates an ability to quickly adopt and understand various tools, policies and procedures.
  • Applicant will be required to develop a full understanding of the mainframe, its role in the data center, mainframe licensing and telemetry/SCRT, and software and services that run on the platform.
  • The position requires consistently acting as an experienced, reliable, trusted resource for the MBS organization.
  • Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Specific Responsibilities: Portfolio Resilience Analysis – Review and maintain detailed Portfolio Resilience Analysis records for all MSD Strategic accounts Oracle Engagement Cloud / Customer Adoption Record – Consistently review and keep up-to-date OEC / CARs Implement changes and controls in place that support long-term improvement with increased rigor, backed by scalable processes and business intelligence Establish plans and procedures to ensure organizational improvements are adopted and sustained Help prepare MBS organization participate in Annual Operating Plans (AOP), QBR (Quarterly Business Reviews) and Monthly Account Reviews with Value Streams Development and production of MBS Field Stories and Customer Success Stories Implement rules and guidelines in order to instill responsibility and accountability Serve as primary communications between internal cross-functional teams / departments and cross-BU teams, including: Host webcasts and internal meetings Develop and produce Partner Newsletter and Enablement Webcasts monthly Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data related to business operations and performance Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to management and stakeholders Assist in the development and execution of business strategies and operational plans.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Documentation and Training: Analyze business processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for employees on new processes or systems.
  • General: Lead or participate in a collaborative team environment Own and drive programs from concept to production Resolve potential issues before they occur Initiate projects and track milestones through weekly meetings and reviews.
  • Manage risks and continually develop mitigation plans Drive Value Stream Interlock meetings and Account Reviews Always be looking to develop processes to improve program efficiency Work Experience Experience working with customers, sales personnel and/or customer services a plus.
  • Experience in related industry disciplines and technologies and related application experience.
  • Experience resolving more complex issues and creating solutions.

About This Role

  • Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $88,300 - $141,300.
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
