Staff Engineer Physical Design Flow Expert / PD Methodology & Automation

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with CAD and implementation teams to enhance and optimize existing Physical Design flows and methodologies.
• Identify execution bottlenecks and propose practical flow improvements for better QoR, runtime, and scalability.
• Drive automation initiatives across Physical Design stages including FLoorplanning, PnR, STA, ECO execution Develop utilities, scripts, and frameworks using Tcl, Python , Shell & Perl scipring Work closely with PD and STA teams to standardize best practices and improve execution consistency.
• Support MCMM timing closure and signoff tracking across projects.
• Debug flow-related issues and coordinate with CAD teams for fixes and enhancements.
• Improve usability and robustness of implementation flows across multiple designs and technology nodes.
• Position Requirement : Education : B.Tech/M.Tech (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience Strong understanding of end-to-end Physical Design flow and signoff methodology.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Innovous, FC, Primetime, Tempus Good understanding of , STA concepts, MCMM flows, DRV closure & Timing/debug methodologies Strong scripting and automation skills: Tcl , Python , Unix/Linux shell scripting Experience in dashboard/report development and data visualization.
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.

• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
