Staff Engineer - Embedded Software Test

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher in electrical, electronics, computer science or a related field. 7+ years of embedded software test development experience, embedded frameworks knowledge, and debug of device drivers.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems, SoCs, hardware/software interfaces, and drivers.
• Deep experience testing RF, high‑speed converter, or mixed‑signal systems.
• Proven experience designing automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven record of successful product delivery with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
• Differentiating Qualifications Strong programming skills in C, C#, Python.
• Strong debugging skills across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies).
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and modern DevOps tooling.
• Exposure to software quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASPICE).
• Working experience with NUnit, PyTest, API testing, End to end requirement management (using Jama etc.). #LI-BF1 For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
