Principal Embedded Engineer, Loudspeakers and Acoustics

Requirements

• BS/MS in EE/CE/CS or equivalent experience. 10+ years in embedded firmware and audio/DSP.
• Strong C/C++ skills for bare-metal and RTOS systems.
• Hands-on fixed‑point DSP implementation.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python for modeling.
• Familiarity with I2S/TDM, audio codecs, and embedded toolchains.
• Experience with loudspeaker protection or real‑time audio control algorithms.
• Preferred Qualifications Deep understanding of acoustics of loudspeakers and haptic transducers.
• Experience with speaker modeling including thermal/excursion models.
• Experience with acoustic measurements and tools such as Audio Precision and Klippel.
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
• Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
