Staff Applications Engineer - Sustainable Automation Business Unit

What You'll Do

• Develop expertise in Tactile sensing, collaborating with internal development teams and interfacing with customers to solve challenging customer problems.
• Offer insights and recommendations for new product definitions based on customer requirements and a thorough system-level understanding Work with internal product teams to understand and develop comprehensive signal‑chain solutions.
• Develop preliminary datasheets, user guides, evaluation boards, and application notes, including related software collateral where applicable.
• Contribute to evaluation software, support lab measurements and data capture.
• Candidates should possess the following qualifications and abilities: A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Self-motivation and responsibility, demonstrated through a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital and mixed-signal fundamentals.
• A strong background in both hardware and software, including system integration, initialisation, and debugging.
• Capability to support customer engagements, evaluations, and technical discussions Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions through collaborative efforts.
• Effective communication skills, particularly in technical presentations and the preparation of technical documentation or collateral.
• A talent for bridging technical and commercial stakeholders, translating customer requirements into clear specifications.
• Experience in supporting technical workshops, demonstrations, and activities aimed at enabling customers.
• Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design and familiarity with PCB design tools an advantage.
• Knowledge of robotics, automation systems, AI/ML and perception systems an advantage. #LI-EC1 For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.

• Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $131,285 to $190,108.
• Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
• This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
