Senior Engineer, Embedded Software

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development and execution of system integration and validation plans for complex SoCs. • Design and implement system-level test cases to verify functional correctness, edge cases, performance, and power mode transitions. • Perform debugging and root-cause analysis of SoC issues spanning hardware, firmware, and drivers, using debug tools, waveform analysis, and logs. • Work closely with design, software, and emulation/virtual platform teams to resolve issues and enhance test methodologies. • Assist in the development and maintenance of automation frameworks for multi-platform regression testing. • Document technical findings and communicate results to team members and stakeholders.
• Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • 4 - 7 years of experience in system validation, silicon bring-up, or post-silicon debug for complex SoCs. • Proficiency with GCC toolchains, embedded debug tools/utilities (e.g., Segger, OpenOCD), and version control systems such as Git. • Skilled in Python or similar scripting languages for automation and analysis. • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to various audience For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
