Intern (f/m/d) Embedded Software & Automotive Networking

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain embedded C software for automotive ECUs Work with TCP/IP stacks from LwIP, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, and Linux environments to develop standalone SW for automotive use cases.
• Debug software and hardware issues using Lauterbach, P&E Micro, or similar tools Perform root-cause analysis of software and HW-related faults Support software design, and documentation activities Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded or Automotive Systems Strong C programming skills for embedded systems Familiarity with OSI layers, AUTOSAR communication and diagnostics concepts Experience with at least one RTOS or embedded OS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Linux) Experience with low-level debugging and hardware bring-up Good software design and analytical skills What NXP Offers An attractive monthly salary The possibility to work in a hybrid setup Flexible working hours 2.5 days of vacation per month incase of volutary internship Networking initiatives and Employee Resource Groups such as Young Community, No Extra Planet, NXP Equal, Women in NXP, and more — fostering both professional and personal exchange Please note: Due to local regulations, internships in Hamburg must be a mandatory part of your study program.
