What You'll Do

  • may include, but are not limited to: Developing and validating ML-based models for analog design automation tasks.
  • Analyzing design data, simulation results, and layout metrics to extract meaningful insights.
  • Collaborating with design engineers to understand challenges and propose automation strategies.
  • Supporting tool development and scripting for design flow enhancements.
  • Documenting research findings and presenting progress to the team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Strong understanding of analog circuit design fundamentals.
  • Experience with Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch ).
  • Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Coursework in Analog IC Design, Mixed-Signal Systems, Machine Learning, and VLSI Design.
  • Exposure to design automation concepts and analog layout-aware design.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, pandas).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity and initiative in exploring interdisciplinary technical challenges.
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
  • Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
  • Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
