USB & USB PD System and Application Engineer

What You'll Do

• Provide system‑level application support for products implementing USB 2.0/3.x/4, USB‑C, USB Power Delivery, and DisplayPort (DP/DP Alt Mode).
• Act as a technical interface for customers , supporting design‑in activities, schematic reviews, and system bring‑up.
• Debug and resolve signal integrity, power negotiation, interoperability, and compliance issues at the board and system level.
• Support USB‑C and PD architecture including source/sink, DRP, PPS, EPR, cable considerations, and protection schemes.
• Support DisplayPort and DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB‑C , including link training, MST, HPD, AUX channel, and interoperability.
• Collaborate with internal teams (silicon design, firmware, validation, marketing) to define reference designs, application notes, and customer documentation.
• Participate in compliance testing (USB‑IF, VESA) and interoperability events; analyze failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, training, and demonstrations for internal teams and customers.
• Influence future product definitions by providing system application feedback and market insights.
