What You'll Do
- **Test Program Development & Optimization:** Design, develop, and debug test programs for new and existing semiconductor products on various Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest).
- Optimize test time and yield while maintaining test coverage and quality standards. * **Test Hardware Development:** Collaborate with design and validation teams to define test requirements and develop necessary test hardware (load boards, probe cards) for product characterization and production testing. * **Yield Analysis & Improvement:** Perform in-depth yield analysis, identify root causes of yield loss, and implement corrective actions to improve product yield and cost efficiency. * **Product Characterization:** Conduct comprehensive product characterization across various operating conditions (temperature, voltage) to ensure performance and reliability. * **Failure Analysis Support:** Support failure analysis activities by providing detailed test data and assisting in identifying failure mechanisms. * **New Product Introduction (NPI) Support:** Actively participate in NPI activities, including test plan development, test program bring-up, and production ramp-up support. * **Documentation & Reporting:** Prepare detailed technical documentation, test reports, and yield analyses. * **Continuous Improvement:** Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test methodologies, processes, and equipment utilization. * **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Job Qualifications * Master's / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. * Fresh or Less than 2 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, or a related role. * Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and digital/analog circuit design principles. * Proficiency in developing test programs on ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest 93000). * Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar scripting languages. * Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Spotfire) for yield and characterization data. * Knowledge of common semiconductor test methodologies, such as DFT (Design for Test) and DPM (Defect Per Million) concepts. * Experience with test hardware design and debug. * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
