System and Application Engineer F/M

Overview

• System and Application Engineer position.
• System and Application Engineer with a solid foundation in analog circuit and Embedded software In this role, you will contribute to the development, characterization, and validation of NXP Function specific Analog products & subsystems for next‑generation products.
• Customer & Field Support Act as the primary technical expert for customers using RTC, I²C, I³C, and aggregator solutions.
• Support customers during evaluation, design-in, bring-up, and production phases.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues including signal integrity, timing, bus contention, address conflicts, and protocol compliance.
• Conduct on-site and virtual customer reviews, trainings, and technical workshops.
• Lab Characterization & Validation Perform bench measurements oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, SMUs, AWGs, and DMMs, Protocol Analyzer.
• Execute test plans, analyze measurement results, and support debug of silicon issues.
• Develop scripts for automating lab setups and data acquisition.
• Software & Firmware Support Implement test automation, data processing, and analysis software using Python or C/C++.
• Contribute to firmware or embedded software used to control or characterize Develop tools to visualize, analyze, and post-process large data sets from simulations or lab runs.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with analog designers, digital designers, systems engineers, and validation teams.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in design reviews, bring‑ups, and requirements discussions.
• Customer Support The Systems Engineer / Architect designs a complete and complex framework, system or product.
• Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
• Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes.
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses.
• Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems.
• Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
• Exclude field technicians, engineers and personnel primarily involved in installation, maintenance, modification and repair of equipment.
