What You'll Do
- Represent the team’s activities and priorities in relation to other IT teams • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define, prioritize and groom the team backlog • Create technical designs based on functional specifications for proposed solutions • First point of contact in addressing technical questions/impediments coming from the team and/or customers • Work with the team to ensure the Splunk platform is properly administrated (stability, performance tuning, improvements) • Develop Splunk reports, dashboards, and applications Team & Reporting • Part of NXP IT’s modern DevOps organization. • Works closely with the Splunk team (Managed Services). • Reports to Splunk Service Lead, collaborating with other architects and process owners.
- Profile Requirements • Splunk Admin and/or Architect Certification • Minimum 3 years of experience with Splunk (deploying Splunk and administering the platform, onboarding new data sources, building dashboards and searches) with 12+ years of Industry Experience • Expertise with Linux command line interface and experience with shell scripting • Good interpersonal and communications skills and able to interact with various stakeholders • A clear sense of ownership, taking personal responsibility for decisions and actions Soft Skills • Able to work effectively with others to meet shared objectives (Collaborate) • Able to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer‐centric solutions (Customer Focus) • Capable of planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals (Plan and Align) Key Attributes • Proactive and Detail-Oriented: Actively identifies process gaps and works to resolve them. • Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Builds strong relationships across global teams to ensure seamless operational execution. • Resilient and Flexible: Thrives in a 24/7 environment, managing high-pressure situations with professionalism. • Problem-Solver: Leverages analytical skills to identify and address process issues effectively.
