Software Engineer for MCUXpresso team

What You'll Do

• Deliver a Rust-first development experience inside MCUXpresso for VS Code , centered on Embassy-based embedded applications.
• Define and implement an Embassy repository integration model comparable in user experience to existing supported ecosystems (e.g., Zephyr/SDK-style flows), including: repository onboarding (clone/import), project discovery, build/run configurations, debugging and flashing workflows.
• Integrate and maintain Rust toolchain workflows (installation/detection/validation), aligning with the broader MCUXpresso tooling strategy.
• Build and maintain extension features that orchestrate external tools reliably (cargo, probe/debug backends), ensuring robust UX and diagnostics.
