What You'll Do
- Develop effective relationships with IBHR team and hiring managers for assigned lines of business. • Engage business leaders and IBHR to understand the business direction and staffing strategy –influence thinking on staffing, and leverage understanding to inform yearly/multi-yr talent pipelining • Develop proactive & creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent and create pipelines for critical skill areas . • Manage full cycle recruiting process to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all candidates– including candidate management, resume reviews, phone screens, interviews and offer negotiations • Throughout the process build IBHR and Hiring Manager capability and shared ownership for recruiting at NXP • Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external hiring events (including University Recruiting events) and other talent acquisition projects, as needed • Provide periodic status updates on the progress of assigned requisitions and projects • Partner with Compensation team to review, analyze and make recommendations for candidate salaries • Drive process simplification and systems and tools refinement – with the global TA team - to ensure NXP’s recruiting process remains complete, nimble, and creates the right experience for candidates, hiring managers, IBHR and recruiters globally • Partner with Global Talent Acquisition, University Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion teams to identify key requirements for each organization and proactively search for the best diverse talent • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related discipline.
- With at least 4-year relevant work experience. • Solid recruiting experience in a corporate recruiting or agency environment servicing semiconductor, technology or software industries. • A high level of interest in driving success of all talent acquisition activities. • Documented experience of exceeding customer expectations in a demanding hiring environment. • Able to effectively manage multiple client and partner relationships and expectations at different levels of the organization. • Strong research background required including knowledge of the following: internet research, patent and publication research, industry forum investigation, candidate networking, competitor mapping, direct research & creative sourcing strategies, etc. • Previous experience using Workday is preferred. • Technology (hardware, software, process, device, design, etc.) industry knowledge, preferably in semiconductor, is required. • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills required.
