Senior Systems Validation Engineer

What You'll Do

• System Validation planning – Develop and implement detailed validation test-plan covering all hardware and firmware configurations and develop validation methodologies/infrastructure to achieve the coverage Test development – Develop self-checking test-cases using Python and C/C++ in embedded CPU build environment.
• Collaboration - Work closely with Design, DV, Analog and Firmware teams to debug, root-cause and resolve any issues that may arise during validation.
• In addition, work with FAE teams to understand customer use-cases and failures and reproduce the same.
• Firmware releases – Document test results, meta data analysis and FW QA coverage reports.
• Communicate the same with stakeholders, including customers.
• Automation – Develop various scripts, web-based tools to automate both system validation and FW QA tests as well as collecting reports and diagnostics data Minimum Required Qualifications B.S./M.S.
• Electrical/Computer Engineering (or similar degrees) 10-15 years of experience in systems validation with high-speed networking SerDes, mixed signal/analog/digital ICs and blocks, knowledge of PCS and PMA networking layers.
• Hands on experience with debug of high-speed interfaces like CSI-2, Ethernet.
• Expertise with script-based test automation (Python) and strong scripting skills in general.
• Expertise with C/C++, Firmware modules and architecture and RTOS.
