What You'll Do
- Design and develop embedded low-level software (drivers/firmware) for automotive microcontrollers and processors • Own and drive full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HW, system, validation, customers) and provide technical guidance • Contribute to process improvements, coding standards, and best practices (e.g., AUTOSAR, ASPICE) • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- To ensure your success in this role, the following experience is required: • Strong experience in embedded C programming. • Deep understanding of microcontrollers, CPU architecture, memory, interrupts. • Advanced debugging skills on embedded systems. • Debugging skills for embedded targets and low level software. • Experience with software development lifecycle (requirements → design → code → test) • English language (spoken and written).
- Experience with any of the following is considered a plus: • Automotive and general-purpose peripherals (UART, DMA, Timers, etc.). • Knowledge of Autosar standard, tooling, methodology. • Memory devices and stacks (flash, ufs, emmc, ota, bootloader). • ARM architectures (CortexM7, CortexR52, CortexM0+, etc). • ARM software specs (SCMI, PSCI, etc.) • RTOS knowledge (AUTOSAR OS, FreeRTOS, etc.). • Experience with CI/CD, Git, scripting, or build systems. • Makefiles, scripting languages. • Ability to read schematics and understand HW/SW interactions.
