R&D Engineer/Developer

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance software applications and system solutions.
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, deployment processes, and system reliability.
• Build, deploy, and support applications in Unix/Linux (Red Hat) and AWS cloud environments.
• Participate in solution architecture, technical reviews, and technology evaluations to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure automation.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and deployment issues through effective root-cause analysis.
• Ensure solutions meet standards for security, performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability.
• Work with QA Engineer on test strategies, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and continuously improve delivered solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, deployment procedures, and support guides.
• Participate in Agile activities such as PI Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, and releases.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver solutions supporting critical business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and software engineering best practices.
• Required Skills A minimum of 10+ years of Software Development experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience Experience with programming languages such as Perl, PHP , Python , C , and C++.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Software Design Patterns and object-oriented design principles .
• Strong software development and programming expertise with the ability to design, build, test, and support enterprise applications and automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux (Red Hat) environments , including application deployment and operational support.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services , cloud-native development, deployment, and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux command-line tools , shell scripting, and automation practices.
• Experience with HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and AJAX for developing responsive web applications.
• Good understanding of MySQL database design, development, optimization, and administration.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning fundamentals, and AI Agent frameworks for intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred Skills Familiarity with semiconductor design and verification tools, including Calibre and PVS .
• Understanding of semiconductor design, manufacturing, and production processes.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including bridging , synchronization , queuing , and communication protocols .
• Experience with Apache Web Server , application hosting, and server operating system administration.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and production support environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and code review tools is an advantage Additionally, you should possess: Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• A results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to influence non-technical audiences with data insights.
