About This Role
- Duties: Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry.
- Collaborate with test engineering and design teams to define test plans, based on knowledge of ATE capabilities and limitations, for new product development.
- Develop test programs on automated test equipment with an emphasis on quality of coverage and cost effectiveness characterize and debug new chips with design and product engineering teams.
- Translate product specification and systems requirements into test requirements; define and implement concepts for design for testability and for automatic test software generation; perform bench validation and characterization, developing test plans based on design specification.
- Responsible for innovating new test methodologies and technologies to reduce development time and manufacturing costs through familiarity with the product, its architecture, and design methodology.
- Work with teams to plan out projects, debug new silicon and support production ramps and production problems.
- Lead cost reduction and yield enhancement test solutions as a product ramps production and responsible for parallel test concepts and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.
- Required skills: Position requires knowledge of the following areas: 1.
- High-level programming (C/C++/Java); 2.
- Software revision control systems (Git, Bitbucket); 3.
- CMOS fabrication technology; 4.
- Assembly programming; 5.
- Digital systems and circuits; 6.
- Reliability testing (HVST, HTOL); 7.
- Statistical data analysis; 8.
- Logic design/RTL code; and 9.
- Microprocessor architecture.
- Salary: $122,923.13 per year.
