What You'll Do

  • Full Account Ownership & Commercial Accountability Own global P&L responsibility for the Schaeffler AG account, including revenue, margin, pricing, and long‑term growth targets Define and execute the global account strategy aligned with NXP Automotive priorities and Schaeffler’s corporate roadmap Ensure achievement of short‑, mid‑, and long‑term financial objectives , including forecasting accuracy and pipeline robustness Take final accountability for pricing strategy, LTAs, escalations, and major commercial negotiations 2.
  • Leadership & Organization of the Global Account Team Provide direct and functional leadership to Account Managers working on Schaeffler Lead a global, cross‑functional virtual team , including Business Lines, Marketing, FAE, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain Set clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations for the account team Coach, develop, and mentor account managers, driving professional growth and consistent execution Ensure alignment and disciplined cadence across regions and functions 3.
  • Executive & Strategic Customer Engagement Own and manage C‑level and senior executive relationships at Schaeffler AG globally Act as NXP’s executive sponsor and escalation point for strategic, commercial, or supply‑related topics Deeply understand Schaeffler’s corporate strategy, decision mechanisms, and long‑term technology roadmap Position NXP as a strategic partner , not just a component supplier 4.
  • Portfolio, Innovation & Long‑Term Growth Drive portfolio placement and system‑level positioning across Schaeffler divisions Lead joint roadmap and innovation discussions (e.g.
  • SDV, electrification, connectivity, Defense and Robotics) Translate customer strategy into tangible business opportunities across NXP Business Lines Influence new product definitions within NXP and long‑term investment decisions to secure sustainable share 5.
  • Governance, Risk & Stakeholder Management Ensure structured account governance , including QBRs, executive reviews, and internal alignment forums with all NXP management levels Proactively manage risk, complexity, and dependencies across regions, contracts, and technologies Serve as final escalation layer for quality, supply, and commercial conflicts Balance short‑term pressure with long‑term partnership health Your Profile: Electrical engineering degree or similar.
  • Knowledge about Electronic / Semiconductor products in the Automotive environment and their usage in the automotive application fields • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in semiconductor Marketing or Sales Customer and business focus.
  • Flexibility, motivation, and networking ability are requested for this position at all management levels • Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner • Highly analytical skills to extract key customer requirements and communicate these internally to relevant Business Lines • A high degree of flexibility, motivation, customer focus, business orientation and networking ability are required for this position • You have a proven track record of success in a challenging business environment • Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in both French and English • Willing to travel (mainly France + Germany, but including EMEA and WW) • Strong leader with a clear team vision, focus on people development and enablement; Team player in a global and multi-cultural environments More information about NXP in Germany... #LI-38ff
