Equipment Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

What You'll Do

• may include supporting documentation management, process standardization efforts, audit readiness activities, calibration tracking, preventive maintenance program improvements, and adherence to maintenance, quality, and operational standards.
• The intern will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional partners to improve equipment reliability, documentation accuracy, and maintenance process consistency while gaining practical experience in semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Desired Qualifications: The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred Prefer Dec 2027 and May 2028 graduation dates Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills Demonstrates hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical system repair and/or maintenance Strong verbal and written communication capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Effective at defining and documenting processes or equipment procedure In order to be considered for a summer internship with NXP you must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term.
