Embedded Software Engineer – Rust (MCU Systems)

What You'll Do

• – What is part of job we do Develop drivers, middleware, and system components in Rust for MCU platforms (MCX, LPC, i.MX RT, Kinetis) Work on low-level bring-up (clocking, interrupts, memory layout, peripherals) Design clean, safe, and maintainable Rust abstractions Build async embedded applications using the Embassy framework Debug real hardware issues using JTAG, tracing, and lab equipment Contribute to design decisions and architecture of Rust-based components Work closely with local HW and SW teams on real product platforms Use modern tools (including AI) to reduce repetitive work and focus on system design, performance, and correctness 💻 Technical Knowledge – What You Bring 5+ years of embedded software experience ( strong C and/or Rust background ) Solid understanding of MCU architecture (ARM Cortex-M or similar) Experience with low-level debugging and peripherals Comfort working close to hardware (schematics, bring-up, lab work) Experience with Git and modern development workflows Nice to have: Experience with Rust in embedded systems Exposure to async programming or RTOS concepts Familiarity with MCU SDKs (e.g., MCUXpresso) 🎯 Why this role Work directly with real silicon and development boards in our labs Build new implementations in Rust , not just wrappers Influence how Rust is used in production embedded systems Be part of a team with strong embedded expertise in the Czech Republic Learn and grow through practical, system-level engineering challenges 🎯 What Can You Expect? 📝 Contract Type This role is offered as a full‑time position with a permanent contract, providing long‑term stability and room for growth. 📚 Development Opportunities We believe that growing our people is key to growing our business.
