What You'll Do
- Provide highly technical support to customers worldwide designing with NXP NFC/RFID and Security devices via email, online tools, and phone.
- Become a recognized technical expert on NFC, RFID, and Security solutions within the Mass Market segment.
- Improve customer satisfaction by promptly following up on inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams to enhance NXP's offering and the overall customer experience.
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge by contributing to: Development and revision of product documentation and FAQs Writing and reviewing Application Notes Helping within some technical trainings Helping customer develop their applications Reviewing customer schematics and PCB layouts Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or Electronic Information Engineering — or equivalent practical experience (minimum 3 years in a relevant technical role).
- Embedded software/firmware application development experience.
- Proficiency in C programming; Java knowledge is a plus.
- Good Linux and/or RTOS programming skills; embedded Linux experience is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of common embedded interfaces: UART, SPI, I²C, SDIO, USB, and network interfaces.
- Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and/or microprocessors.
- Understanding of schematics and PCB layout review.
- Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Collaborative, proactive, self-motivated team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a creative problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive results.
- Preferred Skills Experience with NFC/RFID technologies or security products (e.g., secure elements, smart cards).
- Knowledge of antenna design and RF fundamentals (impedance matching, tuning, regulatory compliance).
- Experience with secure communication protocols (ISO 14443, ISO 15693, EMVCo, ISO 7816).
- Embedded Linux and/or Android application development experience.
- Knowledge of software design, coding, and testing best practices.
