Senior Software Release Manager

Overview

• NVIDIA Software Networking team is looking for a highly motivated Release Manager to join our Linux Drivers team and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of software releases.
• In this role, you will work across engineering, QA, product, and program teams to ensure high-quality releases are delivered on time while continuously improving release processes and methodologies.
• What you’ll be doing: Own and drive end-to-end release management activities for software products.
• Build and manage release plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate across Engineering, QA, Product Management, and Program Management teams to ensure release readiness.
• Track features, bug fixes, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics throughout the release lifecycle.
• Lead release status meetings, communicate progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
• Define and improve release management methodologies, processes, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple geographies to streamline development and release workflows.
• Drive continuous improvements in planning, execution, visibility, and release quality.
• What we need to see: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Software development or Release Management, Program Management, Project Management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel releases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Experience tracking schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience managing software releases in a complex development environment.
• knowledge of Linux OS Advance technologies, networking, cloud, virtualization, or data center technologies.
• Experience driving process improvements, automation, and AI-based productivity initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and release processes.
• Experience with Jira, Git, and release tracking tools.
