What You'll Do
- as the program evolves.
- What we need to see: J.D. degree with a record of strong academic performance. 8+ years of privacy law experience, including hands-on work with vendor contracts, DPAs, and/or data sharing agreements, gained at a law firm, in-house, or both.
- Working knowledge of major privacy frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
- A license to practice law in California required.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, including writing, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- A practical, business-minded approach to legal risk, with the ability to provide clear, actionable guidance.
- Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience at a technology company or in a practice group focused on technology transactions or data privacy.
- Familiarity with AI, data governance, or cybersecurity legal issues — or a desire to develop expertise in these areas.
- You’ll have a CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or similar privacy certification.
- A history of building or contributing to scalable legal processes and internal resources.
- Bring a passion for continuous learning and an enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

- The base salary range is 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD.
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .
