Overview
- NVIDIA is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IC Lab shift Leader to lead and support daily activities within our IC Test Engineering Laboratory.
- The successful candidate will serve as the focal point between engineering teams, operators, contract manufacturers, and equipment vendors, ensuring efficient execution of engineering activities, equipment readiness, and laboratory excellence.
- This role requires hands-on leadership of lab executers, coordination of engineering setup requests and debug activities, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement of lab organization, safety and efficiency.
- The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Job work is in rotating shifts, including both day and night shifts, based on business and operational needs.
- What You'll Be Doing: Lab shift leadership - Lead day/night ATE lab activities and supervise lab employees to perform ATE setup and debug for engineering and production lab activities.
- (ATE and system level test) Coordinate and prioritize engineering requests to ensure timely execution.
- Support urgent planned / unplanned engineering activities and production tasks.
- Drive laboratory organization, cleanliness, safety, and ESD compliance.
- Maintain inventory of consumables, spare parts, sockets, load boards, and accessories.
- Support new products bring-up, characterization, qualification, and yield improvement efforts.
- Work closely with vendors and OSAT partners to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Develop and document lab procedures, standards, and maintenance plans.
- What We Need To See: Mechanical / Electrical / Software practical Engineer degree 2-4 years of hands-on and experience in semiconductor test environments.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Solid understanding of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and trouble shooting.
- Practical experience with: IC Testers, Wafer Probers, Handlers, Load Board, Sockets, System-Level Test Equipment, Reliability Test Equipment.
- Experience supporting engineering debug, characterization, and qualification activities.
- Experience with data collection and analysis tools.
- Background with team leading and "Can do" point of view.
- Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd: Deep understanding of test platforms such as Testers, Handlers and wafer probers.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Focused approach with outstanding attention to detail.
