Summer Intern – ASIC Design Flow Exploration with AI

About This Role

• We are seeking a motivated intern to join our ASIC design team and explore innovative design flows leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• The intern will work closely with senior engineers to investigate how AI can optimize and accelerate various stages of ASIC development, including synthesis, placement, routing, and verification.
• This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge methodologies in semiconductor design and AI-driven automation.
• Key Responsibilities: Research and experiment with AI techniques to enhance ASIC design flows.
• Develop scripts and tools to integrate AI models into existing EDA workflows.
• Analyze design data and identify opportunities for optimization using machine learning.
• Collaborate with ASIC design engineers to validate AI-driven solutions.
• Document findings and present results to the team.
• Working duration: July ~ August, 2026 Qualifications Education: Master’s students in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science.
• Senior-year university students in related fields will also be considered.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of ASIC design concepts (synthesis, timing, verification).
• Familiarity with Python programming (data processing, scripting).
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
• Preferred Experience Exposure to EDA tools or ASIC design flow.
• Coursework or projects involving machine learning or data analytics.
