- Position Overview: Welcome! As a Staff Electrical Engineer - SSD Failure Analysis, you will lead formal failure analysis efforts on customer-returned SSDs, identifying root causes at both the electrical and physical levels.
- You will manage critical RMA cases, produce detailed reports, and serve as a technical liaison to internal and external collaborators.
- This role is performed onsite daily in the lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience (7+ if bachelors) in product, systems, validation, or quality engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with electrical debugging tools and board/component-level failure analysis, including repair and rework.
- Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power delivery, and component-level failure mechanisms in high-speed SSD/NAND systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics and perform board-level analysis, with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
