Sr Engineer, Tainan FAC Hookup (Tool installation)

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute tool hook-up activities, ensuring seamless integration between manufacturing equipment and facility utility systems (power, gas, chemical, water, exhaust).
• Review and interpret engineering drawings (P&ID, schematics, layouts) to support accurate design, installation, and system integration.
• Manage on-site construction activities, including contractor coordination, schedule tracking, quality control, and EHS compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Facilities, Equipment, Manufacturing, Vendors) to resolve interface issues and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to validate system performance and readiness for production.
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices throughout installation and hook-up processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including as-built drawings, system configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance installation efficiency, system reliability, and cost competitiveness.

• Identify and implement AI use cases in facility engineering workflows (e.g., predictive maintenance, system performance monitoring, anomaly detection).

• Collaborate with internal AI programs and digital platforms to continuously integrate AI capabilities into daily engineering operations. • Experience in semiconductor facilities, tool hook-up, or construction/project management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems (UPW, WWT, gas, chemical, HVAC, exhaust).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with AI/digital tools, data analysis, or automation technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
