SR Assembly & Test Supply Management (System Integration System Materials)

What You'll Do

• Lead Contract Manufacturer on Supply assurance and Material On Time delivery.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, procurement partners, and suppliers on global supply fulfillment and inventory management strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and stocking strategies are met.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement robust processes and systems to ensure efficient operations Lead Capacity and Lead Time Management for Key commodities Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
• Participate in Productivity Project Develop and implement robust processes and systems to ensure efficient operations to better business outcomes Support site audits if any Demonstrate Lead Role Specific Skills: Ability to execute with excellence and a sense of urgency and ownership Ability to embrace new ideas and ways of working and inspire others to do the same Ability to role model Micron values in People, Collaboration, Tenacity, Innovation, customer focus Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Purchasing or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles Proven experience in supply management or related field Proven track record in optimizing inventory and managing material availability Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience with semiconductor manufacturing in Asia or other non-US locations is desirable but not a must.
