What You'll Do
- Triage incoming People Service Center tickets and emails; research and resolve requests promptly and efficiently.
- Deliver day-to-day hands-on work across the People Team spectrum, including onboarding, HR policy, total rewards, HR systems questions, and cyclical People initiatives/programs.
- Manage all elements of the onboarding process, including preparing and collecting required documents for newly hired staff.
- Serve as a foundational subject matter expert in all HR areas and other functions supported by shared services (i.e., payroll, equity, benefits, etc.).
- Maintain the data accuracy/integrity of various people systems and tools.
- Ensure that HR processes, policies, and tools are applied consistently to contribute to business goals.
- Analyze requests and bring up issues to different People Team workgroups when the service center cannot resolve them.
- Act as a liaison with People Team COE to ensure case resolution.
- Build and maintain both physical and electronic employee records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date, accurate, and secure.
- Manage the pre-hire process for Mexico and the United States, including initiating any needed background checks and managing the pre-hire tracking tool.
- Facilitate day one orientation for new hires, collaborating closely with local leadership and various departments to deliver an outstanding first-day experience for new employees.
- Other duties and special projects designated by leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience preferred. 2 years of active HR experience.
