Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field Solid understanding of semiconductor devices and fundamentals Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret electrical data and trends Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative, multi-site teams Preferred Qualifications Experience or coursework in non-volatile memory (NAND preferred) Understanding of device variability, reliability mechanisms, and scaling challenges Exposure to data analysis (Python, MATLAB, JMP, etc.) and statistics Familiarity with memory array operation, sensing schemes, or algorithm development Demonstrated ability to connect device behavior to system-level impact Exposure to machine learning, AI, or advanced data analytics technique Ability to move beyond data → build intuition and physical understanding Experience building automated analysis pipelines or engineering tools Curiosity to ask “why does this behavior exist?” , not just “what happened?” Ownership in driving problems end-to-end across device, process, and product Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving technology spaces Strong bias toward impact and execution over analysis alone Mindset of leveraging AI and automation to improve engineering efficiency Why This Role is Exciting: Work on state-of-the-art 3D NAND technologies pushing the limits of scaling Influence decisions that directly affect product performance and cost Be part of a global, highly collaborative engineering network Opportunity to grow into deep technical leadership or cross-domain influence About Micron Technology, Inc.
