Senior Global Energy Procurement and Strategy Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field 7+ years of experience in energy procurement, energy origination, utility management, power marketing, energy development, commodity sourcing, or related fields Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements Solid understanding of electricity markets, utility frameworks, and energy supply agreements Demonstrated financial modeling and commercial analysis capabilities Strong communication, collaborator management, and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to responsibly use AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, analysis, market research, and decision support Preferred Qualifications Experience negotiating PPAs, VPPAs, ESAs, utility tariffs, natural gas agreements, LNG contracts, or carbon-free energy transactions Experience supporting large industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, or hyperscale data center energy portfolios Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving energy supply, infrastructure development, utility services, generation assets, or other large-scale strategic transactions Knowledge of North American and APAC energy markets Experience with nuclear, geothermal, energy storage, hydrogen, or other emerging energy technologies MBA or Master's degree preferred Why Join Micron This is an outstanding opportunity to help build the energy strategy supporting some of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing investments!
