What You'll Do

  • Lead electrical construction engineering across the full project lifecycle (design, construction, commissioning, and handover) Drive delivery of large-scale fab projects in alignment with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements Review and validate electrical system designs to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project specifications Provide technical support to resolve construction, installation, and design-related issues Monitor construction progress and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges Support development of project cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure efficient and aligned project execution Other Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams (facilities, procurement, manufacturing, operations, IT) to ensure alignment with project objectives Communicate project updates, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership Identify and mitigate project risks proactively Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to development and standardization of Best Known Methods (BKMs) Support sustainability programs and capacity planning initiatives across sites AI Responsibilities Apply AI-assisted tools to improve engineering analysis, project planning, and execution efficiency Identify opportunities to leverage data and AI to enhance decision-making and optimize workflows Share and adopt AI-enabled best practices to support continuous improvement Candidate Profile / Job Requirements Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in construction projects as an Electrical Engineer Experience in EPCM project environments Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and electrical system designs Experience in cost and schedule management Ability to work effectively in global, multicultural teams Willingness to travel as required Must Have Technical Skills Experience in designing and supporting electrical systems in the semiconductor industrial environments Electrical system design review and compliance validation Project execution and project controls (cost, schedule, and risk management) Strong technical problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities Must Have Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams Analytical thinking and decision-making capability Strong organizational and planning skills AI Requirements Ability to apply digital fluency and AI tools effectively for engineering analysis, reporting, and decision-making Preferred Skills / Experience Experience in semiconductor or large industrial facility projects Experience with large-scale or greenfield construction projects Professional certification or membership in a recognized engineering body Experience working across regional or global teams Knowledge of sustainability practices in facilities and construction Embody Micron’s Core Values People – Respect, develop, and empower others Innovation – Drive continuous improvement Tenacity – Demonstrate resilience and determination Collaboration – Build strong partnerships Customer Focus – Deliver excellence and value About Micron Technology, Inc.
