  • As a Safety Engineer at Micron Technology, you will focus on the prevention of unplanned events that have the potential to harm people, property, or the environment at a large semiconductor manufacturing location.

  • You will partner with engineers, technicians, leaders, and contractors to identify risks, strengthen safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Science, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of professional experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or a related EHS field Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, hazard assessments, and regulatory compliance activities Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functions within a complex operational environment Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills with the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Experience leading small to medium-sized projects and coordinating multi-functional teams Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing, industrial operations, or large-scale construction projects Experience developing AI-enabled workflows, automation solutions, or productivity tools within EHS programs Experience using AI tools to analyze safety data, identify trends, and support proactive risk reduction strategies As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
