R&D Dry Etch Process Development Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 5+ years of semiconductor experience Strong understanding of dry etch processing and plasma source fundamentals Experience with experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis Working knowledge of SPC and process control methodologies Solid foundation in transport phenomena, electromagnetics, or surface physics Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry Experience using Python, R, or JMP for data analysis Experience supporting R&D pilot line manufacturing Understanding of solid‑state devices Proven ability to influence cross‑functional technology development efforts As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
