Quality Control-Laboratory Equipment Team Senior Technician

About This Role

• Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, calibration, and equipment optimization improvement projects for all Quality Control (QC) laboratory equipment.
• This position is a critical technical role within the laboratory, ensuring stable equipment operation, measurement capability, and long-term reliability.
• The primary work schedule is long-term day shift rotation, with the ability to support night shifts under specific circumstances.
• Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance, servicing, and calibration for all QC laboratory equipment.
• Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance and calibration programs to ensure compliance with quality and audit requirements.
• Independently troubleshoot equipment abnormalities and conduct problem analysis.
• Lead or participate in equipment optimization, upgrade, or reliability improvement projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on equipment installation, acceptance, and technical alignment.
• Establish and maintain equipment-related technical documentation, including SOPs, preventive maintenance (PM) plans, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
• Provide night-shift support when necessary to ensure the successful completion of critical equipment operations or projects.
• Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science-related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory or related equipment maintenance, servicing, and calibration.
• Ability to independently resolve equipment issues and execute technical tasks.
• Willingness to work long-term day shift rotation and provide night-shift support when required.
• Preferred Qualifications Experience with QC or analytical laboratory equipment.
• Experience leading or participating in equipment improvement, upgrade, or reliability enhancement projects.
• Experience in mentoring or supporting the training of other technicians.
• Role Definition This role is a Senior Technician position within the QC laboratory, capable of independently executing and leading equipment-related technical work.
• The position is responsible for the technical aspects of the full equipment lifecycle and serves as the primary technical point of contact to ensure stable laboratory operations, providing professional technical judgment and solutions during equipment abnormalities or improvement initiatives.
