• Product Quality Ownership & Ramp ‑ out Readiness Control Own end ‑ to ‑ end product quality during new product introduction (NPI) and new site ramp ‑ up / ramp ‑ out to ensure product quality equivalency across Mega Taiwan fabs Define and track ramp readiness indicators (reliability, param performance, risk items) to support disciplined ramp decisions Monitor and manage wafer ‑ level and product ‑ level reliability results to ensure all products shipped to customers meet quality and long ‑ term reliability requirements Act as the quality gatekeeper for ramp transitions (engineering → volume) 2.
• Product Quality Risk Monitoring, MRB Governance & Containment Ownership Serve as MRB (Material Review Board) owner for deviation material management and lot disposition decision ‑ making Proactively identify, monitor, and assess product quality risks across ramp ‑ up, qualification, and volume production phases Define and enforce risk containment strategies (e.g., ink ‑ out criteria, lot holds, customer risk evaluation) Ensure MRB decisions, control approaches, and disposition logic are aligned with corporate quality standards and governance practices 3.
• Product Quality Monitoring, Process Improvement & Cross ‑ functional Drive Work closely with PI, PE, Operations, Reliability, and Global Quality teams to analyze product quality issues and identify systematic root causes Drive quality ‑ focused process improvements and control enhancements based on reliability, param, and excursion learnings Lead cross ‑ functional discussions to balance risk, yield, cycle time, and business impact Institutionalize product quality learnings into procedures, specifications, control plans, and standard operating practices 4.
• RMA & Field Return Quality Management Own RMA / field return quality investigation from problem statement definition to root cause closure Coordinate cross ‑ functional debug and corrective actions for customer returns Translate customer and field feedback into internal quality improvement actions and prevention plans Ensure alignment between customer ‑ facing communication and internal risk containment decisions 5.
• Customer & Stakeholder Quality Interface Act as the product quality focal point for internal stakeholders and customer quality discussions Support customer quality reviews, audits, and reliability statements with fact ‑ based data and risk assessment Ensure customer communications are consistent, controlled, and aligned with internal MRB decisions 6.
• Data ‑ driven Quality Monitoring & Automation Enablement Leverage data analytics, dashboards, and automation to improve product quality visibility and decision speed Drive adoption of AI / advanced analytics concepts for anomaly detection, trend monitoring, and risk prediction (where applicable) Improve efficiency and transparency of quality governance through standardized metrics and reporting About Micron Technology, Inc.
